Shipping and Damage Claim Procedures
Pre-Shipping Process
- Transit Warranty / Insurance: All shipments are transit-warranted / insured to their values.
- Photographic Evidence: Items are photographed prior to packing.
- Packing Materials: We use bubble wrap, tissue paper, news / butchers paper, and extra-thick cardboard boxes.
- Fragile Stickers: Where allowed by the carrier, fragile stickers are added to cartons.
- Thorough Inspection: Each carton is thoroughly checked prior to shipment.
- Multiple Carriers: We use various carriers to ship your goods.
- Damage Prevention: Goods are wrapped and packed as securely as possible to avoid damages.
Claiming Procedure Timeframe
- 48-Hour Window: Claims must be filed within 48 hours of delivery. If delivery occurs on a Friday afternoon, the following Monday is still within the claiming timeframe.
- Strict Adherence: Claims outside this timeframe are not accepted, as the carrier’s insurance / warranty department will not accept late claims.
- Outcome Control: The outcome of your claim is at the discretion of the carrier’s warranty and insurance department.
